It's hard to believe there are only 14 more days left! Tafui has been a tremendous help in assisting me in getting the website perfected! It truly takes a village! Collaboration is key! This weekend I plan on packing to assess if I need additional luggage. Ms. Cormier and my Mom are loaning me their 'lightweight' spinner luggage! I'm going to save my 'new luggage' monies for souvenirs! : ) Ms. Clossey suggested an inexpensive Kipling cross shoulder bag; along with an empty foldable bag to stash away for souvenirs. She and her husband, Brian, are world travelers and I've gotten some great travel tips. I hit a roadblock with acquiring "Rand" - the currency in South Africa - at the State Employees Credit Union. I've been told that Bank of America can help me. I will navigate that challenge this week....along with my other tasks!
I would love to hear from you guys. I'm still gathering facts about South Africa! Did you know?
*South Africa has 11 national languages
*South Africa's nation anthem is in 5 languages
*When Nelson Mandela became president in 1994, there were 19 Departments of Education
As you research and gather facts about South Africa; more specifically, Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg, let me know what you find! I am honored to be YOUR representative!
Grateful,
Mrs. Jarrett
